Our recommendation is that you should book a hotel (around ~50 EUR p. p.) nearby:
From Düsseldorf Airport (DUS), ~11km
Grab a cab/taxi, this will cost about 30,- EUR. Or choose local train (station is
within the airport!) S-Bahn S11 (Direction ”Bergisch Gladbach”) , 2,50 EUR
only and you will have 27,50 EUR left for an even bigger present for us!
From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main station, “HBF”), ~4km
Go to plattform 12 and take “S-Bahn” S8 (Direction ”Kaarst / Kaarster See”)
or S11 (Direction ”Bergisch Gladbach”) or S28 (Direction ”Kaarst / Kaarster
See”). It’s only three station, No. 3 is “Völklinger Str.”. GET OUT! Then walk 5
min (look for Mc Donalds, the party is near).
If you prefer the tram, go outside via the main entrance , then choose tram
n. 709 (Direction “Neuss Theodor Heuss-Platz”). 8 stops, then get out at
“Georg-Schulhof-Platz”. Then look for Mc Donalds, the party is near. 3 Min
walk.
